Today was a big day for Maverick. At just 14 weeks old, this brave little guy packed up his favorite toy and left behind everything familiar—his momma, his siblings, and his Auntie Sam.

He’s a Top Gun graduate, trained with love, science, and lots of puppy kisses. Maverick knows how to sit, stay, walk on leash, go potty outside, and be calm in busy places. But even trained puppies have big feelings when life changes all at once.

The car ride to his new home was full of emotions—he was brave, but nervous. And yes… he had a little accident. (Hey, desert roads are bumpy!) But true to his nature, Maverick bounced back with a hug and a tail wag that melted hearts.
