Why Countryside Living Is Part of Our Training Program

Countryside Living has been part of our puppy training program for years and gives us an environment we simply cannot recreate at home.

Our puppies learn to remain calm and gentle around wheelchairs, walkers, medical equipment, loud or unexpected noises, unusual movements, different flooring and people of all abilities. We work on leash skills, impulse control, appropriate handling, settling, confidence, and absolutely no teeth on human skin.

Most importantly, Countryside allows me to see each puppy's real-world reactions. I can watch how they respond when they're uncomfortable, how quickly they recover, how they handle distractions, and whether they naturally have qualities that may make them a strong service or therapy prospect.

Every visit helps me understand each puppy at a deeper level so I can adjust their training and ultimately match them with the family and lifestyle that fit them best.

We're there to train and evaluate our puppies. The smiles, cuddles, and friendships we've made along the way are just a pretty incredible bonus. ♥️
