Meet Lilly ❤️

Lilly is a 6-month-old Golden Retriever who has completed both our 16-Week Puppy Development Program and continued real-world advanced training.

If I had to describe Lilly in one word, it would be steady.

She's the kind of dog who makes life feel a little easier.

She loves to cuddle, enjoys being close to her people, and has a calm, thoughtful personality that's difficult to teach. It's simply who she is.

Lilly knows:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Stay

  • Wait

  • Leave It

  • Take It

  • Paw

  • Reliable recall

She also walks beautifully on leash, confidently uses stairs, rides elevators without hesitation, settles nicely in hotel rooms, and has excellent house manners.

Recently, Lilly traveled 28 hours over three days, stayed in multiple hotels, met an entirely new family, and completed a formal evaluation.

She didn't have a single accident.

She handled the trip with confidence, adapted quickly to every new environment, and showed exactly why we've always believed she was something special.

Originally, Lilly was selected for a little boy in Oklahoma who survived a devastating attack by five pit bulls when he was just 22 months old.

Our hope was that Lilly would become part of his healing journey.

We're incredibly happy to share that his family is finally able to move forward with the court process surrounding that attack. While that's wonderful news, it also meant their timeline changed and they were no longer able to bring Lilly home.

As heartbreaking as that was, it opened the door for another family whose life she may be meant to change.

Lilly has all the qualities we look for in a future therapy dog or psychiatric service dog prospect.

She naturally stays close to her handler.

She loves children.

She has a calm, gentle presence that helps people relax.

She listens well, enjoys learning, and has an incredible off switch when it's time to settle down.

While we do not task train service dogs, Lilly has an outstanding foundation for a family wanting to continue her training as a therapy dog or psychiatric service dog.

She would be an excellent candidate for someone living with:

  • PTSD

  • Anxiety

  • Panic attacks

  • Nightmares

  • Night terrors

She would also make an incredible family companion for someone simply wanting a well-mannered, confident Golden Retriever.

If you'd like to learn more about Lilly or watch her training videos, I'd love to talk with you.
